Host a Teacher: deadline approaching

With our free and flexible programme, you can host a teacher from Germany for two or three weeks this school year.

"It brought a piece of the world into our classroom."

Happening now: Plastic Pirates

Join the 'Plastic Pirates' and take part in a funded joint project on 'Seas and Oceans' this autumn as part of the Year of Science 2016-17.

New grant: Our future in Europe - maintaining the UK-German connection

Engage your pupils in discussions on the future of the UK in Europe.

Grants of up to £5,000 are available for remote project work and/or reciprocal visits as part of our flexible funding scheme.

Back to school special (voyage kids)

Start the new school year by teaching your pupils all about school life in Germany:

Magical Christmas Trip 2016 (2 options)

Give your primary pupils the chance to experience Germany's Christmas culture in a real-life setting! This four-day visit to Berlin will give them the chance to meet German children of the same age and get involved in seasonal intercultural activities.

Two options now available: apply for a visit run by UK-German Connection or receive funding to organise your own!
