We'd like to take the opportunity to remind you of the following upcoming deadlines before the summer holidays get into full swing!
Host a Teacher: 26 July
Boost your school's intercultural dimension by welcoming a teacher from Germany to any department for 1, 2 or 3 weeks in autumn.
"The children gained a unique perspective into a different culture and way of life."
Deadlines: 26 July to host in autumn or 21 September to host in spring/summer.
Together: 27 July
Creative arts project: young people are invited to produce poetry, art, or songs on the themes of hope and unity, inspired by the shared history between the UK and Germany to mark the WW1 Centenary.
Pupils, whose work is selected, will be invited to a special event at the British Embassy in Berlin this November!
Deadline: 27 July.
Cultural Heritage through the Lens: 31 July
"What does cultural heritage mean to you?"
Calling all budding film-makers! To celebrate the European Year of Cultural Heritage, we are inviting young people to submit videos to answer this question with the opportunity of them being presented on our website and social media.
Deadline: 31 July.
