Governance
UK-German Connection is a bilateral government initiative, which was set up as a result of the state visit of HM Queen Elizabeth II to Germany in 2004. It has been established, and is governed, by the following institutions:
UK-German Connection is funded reciprocally by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, the Auswärtiges Amt, Department for Education and British Council.
A Steering Group consisting of representatives of all the institutions listed above acts as governing body and meets annually.
