About us
UK-German Connection is a bilateral government initiative for school and youth links. It was established in 2005 and is funded and governed by the UK and German governments, British Council and the Pädagogischer Austauschdienst.
Bringing young people together lies at the heart of our work. We act as a first port-of call for information and advice, provide a dedicated linking service and offer complementary funding for UK-German activity as well as a range of bilateral programmes, trips and seminars. Networks and virtual activities facilitate the active involvement of young people in the development of UK-German youth relations.
UK-German Connection activities are open to the primary, secondary and FE sectors and focus on cross-curricular, thematic involvement.
