Host a Teacher from Germany in spring or summer 2017

Schools now have another chance to host a teacher from Germany for two or three weeks during spring or summer 2017.


The deadline for the second round of applications is 12 December 2016.

NEW: Partnership Bursaries

Special financial support is curently available to help keep partnerships alive between schools in the UK and Germany.

Have you undertaken any partnership activities in 2016? Do you have plans for 2017? Are external circumstances affecting the future of your partnership?

Fill in a short online form to be eligible for a bursary of £1,000.

Deadline: 7 December 2016


Flexible grants for themed projects - apply any time

Missed the recent funding deadline? Don't worry. You can apply any time for funding for activities on the following themes:

  • Our future in Europe
  • Projects on WW1 or 'Our Future in Europe'
  • Memories of a Nation
  • Year of Science - Seas and Oceans


Win a trip to Berlin! Competition for language assistants

Calling all language assistants! Be inspired by the exhibition Germany: Memories of a Nation. and enter this competition by sending us an idea for a project for pupils from the UK and Germany.

The winners will receive funding for a visit to Berlin with a group of pupils.


Deadline: 30 November 2016

Coming soon - new winter features on voyage kids

As the festive season approaches, it's nearly time to make lanterns, polish your boots for St. Nikolaus and bake Weihnachtsplätzchen!

Bring Germany's magical traditions to your classroom with games, activities, recipes and songs - all coming soon on voyage kids.
